Khamoshiyan, Hawizaada And Rahasya Give The Audience Some Variety!

Three interesting films belonging to three different genres are all set to clash at the box office this weekend. In fact, each of these movies have a distinct subject which makes them all a good candidate for viewing. Khamoshiyan is an erotic-supernatural outing from the Bhatt house. Hawaizaada is an untold story of an Indian who created the world’s first unmanned plane. Rahasya is apparently a fictional account of Arushi Talwar‘s murder case.

Hawaizaada

As far as the opening collections go, Khamoshiyan should get a better start due to the backing of Vishesh Films as well as its hit music. Moreover, the promos have been decent and have managed to grab people’s attention. With a fresh and young cast, it should find a better opening at the multiplexes. Though it doesn’t foresee mayhem at the box office on the opening day, word of mouth should help Khamoshiyan during the weekend.

As for Hawaizaada, yet again it will be word of mouth publicity that will have a major role to play. The film has a quality feel to it and is also an expensive affair. Ayushmann Khurranna is getting into a different zone altogether after Vicky Donor, Nautanki Saala and Bewakoofiyaan and hence it would be interesting to see how he fits into a period affair. The film would have to rely on some very good reviews to generate further excitement amongst the audience.

Rahasya

Rahasya has a good ensemble of actors, such as Kay Kay Menon, Ashish Vidyarthi and Tisca Chopra. However, it hasn’t been promoted at all. That’s sad, because from the promos, it looks like an interesting suspense thriller. Now if only the promotions had been better, the news would have reached the audience as well and there would have been a better chance for Rahasya to get some traction at the box office!
