The most anticipated award show of the season took place last night; while we made a prediction list for the winners AND what everyone might be wearing (many of these were correct), we finally found out who the real winners were – award and outfit-wise. While looking at what the celebrities wore last night, the lady who stole my heart was without a doubt, Sonam Kapoor. I already told you she might wear Anamika Khanna, and she did! Her caped glory was finished off with a glorious up do, oodles of jewellery and all-round perfection. While I mentioned Deepika Padukone would turn up in a Dubai designer’s creation, it turned out to be a Lebanese one. In a bustling gown by Ashi Studio, her lipstick was spot on but somehow, I wanted a little more (Deepika makes me greedy). The Nikhil Thampi ladies for the night didn’t disappoint – Ileana D’Cruz took some risks in her plunging, caped suit while Kalki Koechlin‘s quirky sari made us salivate. Among the women were the dashing men, of course. Putting their best style foot forward were Ranbir Kapoor in Dior, Shahid Kapoor in Kunal Rawal, Varun Dhawan in Emporio Armani and Arjun Kapoor in Ahish N Soni.
