At the Filmfare awards, held on Saturday night, Salman Khan was overheard joking how he was the only Khan in the house. With Shah Rukh Khan‘s no show and Aamir Khan‘s boycott on award shows for years, he was the only real superstar and trump card at the star studded event. Salman doesn’t attend award shows very often, but this time he also performed and did a small skit with Deepika Paduknoe on stage which was quite impromptu. Despite the fact that he’s not much of an award show person, he was heard saying he had a fun time and might be seen more regularly at film awards – to the point that everyone might just get sick of him!
As for Deepika and Salman’s banter on stage, everyone was left wondering whether it was a teaser of sorts for Karan Johar‘s Shuddhi. Even though there isn’t an official announcement on the female lead, everyone is speculating that the part will indeed go to Deepika! So keep your eye out for the telecast to see these two in action – you never know, there just may be a lot more of them coming soon.
