According to recent reports, the Mumbai Police has summoned Arjun Rampal. And that’s because he met the underworld don, Arun Gowli, without taking official permission. It seems the Roy actor had met the gangster sometime last month, when the latter was taken to JJ Hospital for a routine checkup. Apparently, Rampal wanted to catch up with the gangster, who is currently in jail for mudering corporator Kamlakar Jamsandekar, to research for his lead role in a movie based on Gowli’s life. The movie is tentatively titled Daddy. But according to law, nobody is allowed to meet a convicted prisoner without permission from the concerned authorities. So the Mumbai Police has sent out a letter asking him to appear for a questioning session. However, Rampal is yet to respond, as per recent reports.
