Content creators, The Viral Fever, released a powerful video yesterday talking about the unnecessary repercussions surrounding the #AIBRoast. The entire team sits and gives their opinions on this blatant curbing of freedom of speech and tries to explain why not liking something doesn’t mean one bans it. An actress from TVF explained that she’s vegetarian and she’s allergic to seafood, but that doesn’t mean she asks a restaurant that serves seafood to remove it from the menu or to ban it completely. Their point is that if people are not comfortable or don’t like something they see, they’re free to criticize it, write articles dissing it or even abuse the makers if they want. That’s their freedom as an audience. Filing an FIR or blaming a few jokes for threatening the fabric of a culture makes no sense.
