I don’t know a single person who was disappointed after watching Irrfan Khan and Nimrat Kaur‘s heartwarming movie, The Lunchbox. After all, the bittersweet slice-of-life story had won everyone’s hearts. And of course, both the actors wowed us with their flawless and realistic performances. A lot of acclaim and accolades have been coming their way ever since the movie released. What’s more, the flick was recently nominated for the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) Awards in London.
And guess who Nimrat managed to hang out with there? It’s none other than the ace footballer David Beckham. In a recenty interview to IBN 7, she said:
He was standing with me backstage to give away awards. We stuck up a conversation. I was disarmed by his nervousness about going on stage. Put this football champ on the field, and he’s confident. But the idea of going on stage was giving him the jitters.
And when she was asked whether the rumours of David stepping on his dress are true, she shared:
Yes, David Beckham did step on my gown. I guess the dubious honour of having the football legend trip on my dress must go to me.
