Kangana Ranaut and Aamir Khan are the two unlikeliest people to become best friends. But boy, have they been bonding. So much so, that I recently heard that the two were partying on the same evening that Filmfare was having their award ceremony. Since both these actors have decided to boycott award functions, it was a given that they wouldn’t be in attendance there – but it seems like there was a lot for them to discuss regardless! In fact, they spent time talking about the year in films and picked out their favourites from 2014’s lineup. Practically an award ceremony of their own, right?
A li’l birdie who was in on this conversation told me that Kangana felt Aamir was the best actor that year, while Aamir complimented Kangana too, saying that her Queen performance was better than several others actresses who won awards in the past as well. Not a surprise, considering how (despite being modest) the two do believe they’re talented and amongst the best in the industry. Aamir, in fact, even said that they both would never get a lifetime achievement award in India – but if it was Hollywood, they would be luminaries in their area of work!
