After the success of Heropanti, Tiger Shroff has now signed two brand new films. One is his next with his Heropanti director, Sabbir Khan, titled Baaghi, and the second is Turbanator with Remo Dsouza for Ekta Kapoor‘s Balaji Telefilms. Tiger chose these two films out of around 20 scrips that came to him since his debut film. Yes, he’s being picky – and it seems that his mother, Ayesha Shroff, is responsible for that. Mrs Shroff has been spending quite some time making sure he picks up the right scrips, and she also personally reads everything that comes to Tiger.
Since he’s quite the Mama’s boy, Tiger holds her opinion in high regard and is therefore quite likely to listen to her when it comes to his upcoming films. It seems that Ayesha wants Tiger to pick roles that will make use of his great body and extend his already strong female fan base. She is clear that she doesn’t him to do anything that is too dark or intense at this point. So while Varun Dhawan signed a film like Badlapur after his debut, Student of the Year, I’m fairly sure Tiger won’t be making any such choices.
Dad Jackie Shroff, too, is quite thrilled with all the attention his son is getting and has asked him to take time and then choose films. Clearly this mother-father duo have become his hands on managers!
