There’s a new footwear brand in town and I guarantee you, it’s nothing like anything you’ve ever experienced before. Brazilian footwear brand, Melissa, has brought their candy-licious shoes to India for the first time ever and Team MissMalini was at the fun-filled launch co-hosted by supermodel, Carol Gracias! As hors d’oeuvres were doing the rounds and the wine was flowing, we were mingling with the supermodels and trying on each and every shoe that caught our eye from the Spring/Summer ’15 collection: Eat My Melissa. And really, the gel shoes that come in pop colors make you want to eat them! They’ve got this tutti-frutti smell to them and unlike a lot shoes, they’re super comfortable and adaptable to wear.

Among the guests taking ‘shoe selfies’ was our boss lady, MissMalini, Nonita Kalra, Nandita Mahtani, Renu Chainani, and more. Carol Gracias’ supermodel power pack was also present at the event, modelling the shoes, and posing for the shutterbugs. This included: Dayana Erappa, Alessia Raut, Candice Pinto, and Archana Akhil Kumar!

The S/S ’15 collection includes shoes from 4 different designer collaborations: Vivienne Westwood, Karl Lagerfeld, Jason Wu, and J. Maskeray. The collection also features an adorable little line for kids, which kind of made us go ‘awww!’
