“Fashion is a form of ugliness so intolerable, we have to alter it every 6 months” – Oscar Wilde. And truer words were never spoken Mr. Wilde! 2014 saw some over-used trends and we see them carrying forward to 2015 too. Before it all gets out of hand, here are a few tricks we all need to kick to the curb!
1. It’s Like You’re My Mirror
Ah.. If only Justin Timberlake were staring back at me. But on a more important note, mirrored sunglasses are on our bye-bye list.

2. Distressed Over Denims
We just did a quick DIY on how to distress your own denims but the problem here is over-shredding. They’ve definitely had their time in the spotlight this past year but how about easing up on the number of cuts ladies?

3. Ahoy, Matey
They’re just a tad bit odd, don’t you think? While culottes made for the ultimate style statement last year, it’s time to give them the boot this year.

4. Peek-a-Boo
Kim Kardashian seems to have made this trend her own! A tight sheer skirt over knickers is something not everyone can carry off with confidence (I know I can’t), so how about we kill this before it gets crazier?

5. Plaid, not-so-perfect!
If there was a king of lazy girl trends, this would be it! Tying a plaid shirt around your waist is the simplest trick in the book and you might not want to kick this just yet, but think about it – you do want to get a bit more innovative than that, don’t you!?
