The festival of colours is here! Now that you’ve finished playing and dancing in the sun, it’s time for the hard part… removing all the colour from your skin! Luckily for you guys, we have the best guide to help you do this.

Step One

As tempting as it may be to exfoliate your skin, you have to resist. Rubbing your skin will only inflame it further. Instead, apply a cleansing gel on to your face. Massage it in a circular motion for about a minute. Wash it off with cold water, as hot water will make the colour stick.

Step Two

Shower off all the dye from your body with a soothing shower oil. Remember to keep the temperature of your bath as low as possible.

Step Three

As soon as you step out of the shower, liberally apply a thick moisturizer on your face. This will keep the skin hydrated and cool.

Step Four

Just like your face, your body needs hydration too. Post a shower, massage a rich lotion on to your skin.

Step Five

Nails bear the brunt of Holi. Use a nail polish remover to get off as much colour as you can. Every few hours, pamper your tips with a nail cream.
