NH10
NH10

Krishika Lulla is a happy woman. As a producer, she is proud to have put together an unconventional, yet entertaining film – NH10, where she has Anushka Sharma as an actor and a producer (along with Phantom). Seeing the large amount of films arriving practically every weekend, Krishika, as a producer, is glad that NH10 looks distinct, not just in terms of theme and narrative, but also in styling and presentation. Not surprisingly, she’s  awaiting the arrival of her woman-centric affair that hits the screens on 13th March.

Talking about the movie, Krishika elaborates:

The whole concept and then the script came out so well that Anushka loved it all in a big way. So much so that she wanted to come in as a producer too. She wouldn’t have done that if she was not convinced. When an actor wants to be a producer, it says a lot about her faith in the film.

This is Anushka’s first film as a producer, and also Krishika’s first ever association with the actress. Talking about their association, she says:

Though she is a Yash Raj Films baby, she chose to be with Eros for her production. That by itself is heartening enough and lends a positive feel to NH10 as a subject.

With Krishika and Anushka coming together, does it indicate some good woman-power on play? Krishika adds:

The women power is definitely there because it is always a very good experience to work with a woman. One woman understands another woman much better than a man. Having said that, there is Phantom collaborating with us as well and all producers out there are men (Vikas Bahl, Anurag Kashyap & Vikramaditya Motwane). They are also directors and I enjoyed their association.

We’re really looking forward to NH10 with Neil Bhoopalam and Darshan Kumaar as the male protagonist and antagonist respectively, releasing next Friday. What are your expectations from this movie?
