Paris Fashion Week is all about the glitz and glamour. Although there were hordes of supermodels, stunning outfits and a few surprises, our eyes were glued to the makeup! Bold, ground-breaking and chic, the beauty looks this year left us speechless. Here are our top 5 beauty moments.
Put down your straighteners because frizz is officially in fashion. The models at Alexander Mcqueen sported fluffy, frizzy hair in a halo. Celebrity makeup artist, Pat McGrath kept the look fresh with white mascara, glossy lips and contoured cheeks.
Androgyny has never looked better. To complement the boyish tuxedos, the models flaunted bold brows and lightly tousled hair. All attention was on those dark, matte lips.
The fashion label won us over with their eye makeup. Makeup Goddess, Lucia Pieroni, transformed basic black liner to create negative spaces. So edgy, so glam.
This legendary fashion house keeps surprising us! The models’ looks were all about the drama with sleek, side ponytails and colour blocked eyes. The intense eye shadow in navy, plum and green had us sitting on the edge of our seats.
The models at Kenzo were like a breath of fresh air. The focus was kept on the eyes which were covered with thick, opaque white eye shadow. The rest of the face was kept neutral with dewy skin and glossed lips. Hair was styled into a deep side part and then pulled back into a slick ponytail.
Trendy, unique and undoubtedly stunning, the hair and makeup at Paris Fashion Week was incredible. We can’t wait to try out these looks!
