The world of Indian televison has been rather exciting this week. From Karan Patel leaving Kamya Punjabi to marry Ankita Bhargava to the Diya Aur Baati Hum slapgate, each day we woke up to some shocking news. The week hasn’t ended yet, and neither has the shock value of TV, because today’s breaking news is the secret wedding of Sakshi Tanwar!
That’s right! As per reports, Sakshi Tanwar (who has been the ideal TV bahu/beti in Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki and Bade Acche Lagte Hain) secretly got married a few weeks back to a mystery businessman. Interestingly, theirs is a love marriage.
Given her strong and popular onscreen persona, Sakshi has always been flooded with marriage proposals by fans. However, she always maintained that she’d like to focus on her career and love will happen when it has to. In an interview last year, when Sakshi was asked about her marriage plans, she said:
I haven’t found anyone I want to marry. Normally people find love. But in my case I feel love has to find me.I feel your birth, marriage are decided and pre-ordained. I totally believe in the institution of marriage. In my family I’ve seen many successful marriages.
We still don’t know the name of Mr. Right but we do hope an official announcement with all the details are made super soon. As for Sakshi, we couldn’t be happier! Since she isn’t on any social media platform, we hope she issues some kind of press statement to accept or deny this information because the ‘did she or didn’t she?’ game is too much to handle! If this news is in fact true, we wish the married couple all the love and luck. 🙂
