1) What do you love most about being a makeup artist?
The fact that I can bring a smile to somebody’s face everyday of my life and makeup used to be a hobby with me, which has become my profession and I couldn’t ask for better.
2) A trend that will never go out of style.
I think subtle highlighting and contouring will never go out of trend.
3) What are 5 makeup essentials every woman should have?
Studio Fix powder that suits your skin tone, an amazing mascara, a kohl pencil, and an eyelash curler, and maybe a nice blush.
4) The last celebrity that you worked with?
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan for her test look in Jazbaa.
5) One makeup trick that can brighten up a dull day?
Once again, an eyelash curler. As soon as you curl lashes, something awakens within you.
6) A summary of Spring/Summer 2015 MAC Trends.
Skin is extremely important this season and it has been on the glossy side. It’s not about matte. Mascara is also playing a very big part, even if it’s clumpy it’s making a statement. Contour might be out, but highlighting is in. Lip colors are more muted and monochromatic. I think it’s all about freedom of expression.
