Tis’ the season of global fashion and India’s upping their trend game with FDCI Presents Amazon India Fashion Week A/W’15! And of course, Team MissMalini was there to cover it all. Yesterday was day 1 and we’ve got the low down on all the amazing displays of what’s going to be hot this Autumn-Winter 2015, from JJ Valaya to Anju Modi and more!

The day kick-started with a surprise from Rajesh Pratap Singh, who wow-ed us with his new clinical collection, presented amongst hospital beds. It was all about ‘medicine being the best laughter,’ and medicine was the key word here.

Structure is what it was all about. Kavita Bhartia is exploring the softer side of autumn and winter with her retro-inspired collection, filled with floral thread work and silk crepe fabric.

Payal Singhal presented a sensual, feminine line with soft fabrics and lace work. Despite the flirty designs, the fashion powerhouse has kept the color palette towards muted tones, making for a beautiful collection!

Nikasha revealed her love for all things bohemian with her Ruby collection and Anju Modi showcased, well… a fairytale!

JJ Valaya, as per usual, brought something new to the runway: a marriage between the cultures of Russia & India made with weaves, crepe, georgette and more, but could we expect any less from the master couturier?

Stay tuned for more updates from FDCI Presents Amazon India Fashion Week A/W’15!
