You guys, it’s the end… of fashion week! Time to put aside all your power banks, comfy shoes and panda eyes. Sanity, here we come! But before we get to what life’s like with 8 hours of sleep let’s give you the low down on the last day. Like Carrie Bradshaw said,
“I’ve always been fascinated by the Middle East. You know, desert moons, Scheherazade, magic carpets.”
We know Carrie, we know. The gypsy vibes during Ashima-Leena‘s A/W’15 collection took me back to my Dubai holiday. With those soft drapes, vibrant colours and beautiful headgear, these outfits were fit for a movie of their own!
Shweta Kapur‘s collection inspiration was a tad different than the average. Titled Manhole it showcased a reversible printed overcoat, printed legs, and of course some woven leather and fringe. She also gave us a sneak peak of her collection just a day before the show. Check out the link below!
Sneha Arora got us loving some prints, pleats and patchwork. Her A/W’15 collection revealed a modern twist on how to dress office chic. It definitely fuelled our appetite. Finally, Amalraj Sengupta‘s runway brought on deep hues with patterned silhouettes and a tribe-like feel.
Can I just say how much I’m loving these gypsy vibes on the final day. Contemporary tribal prints, modern cuts and some grim legs on a skirt sum up day 5 in the best way possible. Let us know what your favourite look was.
