As you know from our many (many) Instagram pix, Team MissMalini‘s fashion peeps spent the last week in Delhi attending show after fabulous show at AIFW! (The Fashion Design Council of India’s runway extravaganza that brings together the best that Indian fashion has to offer.) Here’s a peek at all the things Marvin, Anushka and I loved best – from ramp to the bar :) xoxo
No, not in the literal sense. Rajesh Pratap Singh presented his new collection amidst hospital beds and nurses having seizures on the runway! While it all sounds a bit grim, the final result was absolute genius.
P.S. His press kits came in the form of a bright red medicine box, with the slickest pair of cat-eye sunglasses inside – love!

Don’t miss our interview with the man himself…
Anju Modi knows how to tell a story. From the whimsical garments that came accessorised with crowns, and shoes with wings to match to fairytale shades of Red Riding Hood red and Cinderella blue.
Check out the dreamy lineup right here!
They showed us that even a cozy press preview can be as fabulous as a full blown show if done right!
Key Ingredients: Cinnamon for spice, sugar syrup for sweetness and mint, because after you drink this, you’re going to need some!
A pret line, AM.IT was born and it came with separates to die for! Read about it all here.
We had a chat with him to know more about the collection, watch it here:
Their collection came full of leftover fabrics, buttons and even embellishments made out of discarded x-rays – wow!
Here’s what else they had to say…
Grazia India‘s Ekta Rajani, Elton Fernandez, Rakesh Thakore and more took over as models for 11.11’s show.
They proved that hard work and a strong hold on doing what you love with the one you love is the best high! What a gorgeous collection it was!
Aneeth Arora knows how to put up a great show. From the band to the military precision clothing and the press kits – everything was top notch!
You already know that the finale at AIFW featured 50 models and 25 designers on the runway. What you may not know is that Rohit Bal danced down the runway and damn, the guy’s got some moves!
My stylist extraordinaire helped style me up for the whole week and I loved every single look! (Thank you for the hair and makeup, MAC Cosmetics and Monsoon Salon!) Here’s a peak at what I wore and basically why I love my job :)
Now, leave us a comment if you love fashion and want to see more fashion week coverage in the weeks ahead. Psst! We’ll even take some of you lucky commenters along for the fabulous ride :)
