I know you love Remix as much as I do! I mean why wouldn’t you? That show was perfection. Wondering what the stars of the show are up to now? We’re here to give you an update. Read on.
The man who made tweens realise what love is, Ranveer Sisodia was the smouldering, silent and strong type women swooned over! The guy who played this iconic role is Karan Wahi who later starred in shows like Dill Mill Gayye, danced in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, hosted 2 seasons of Nach Baliye, Dance India Dance Supermoms AND played a role in YRF’s Daawat-e-Ishq. Phew! Quite a full plate eh?
Priya Wal as Anvesha was such a powerful character that I don’t think any role she does after this will have the same impact (unless there’s a sequel to Remix, are you listening producers?). That doesn’t mean Priya didn’t experiment after playing Ashi. She played roles in C.I.D, Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki, Pyaar Kii Ek Kahaani but none of them were as good as the red-headed trouble maker! Going by her Twitter feed, I know that Priya loves to travel and is an active supporter of the Aam Aadmi Party. You go girl!
Raj Singh Arora, the hottie who played Maurya High’s bad boy Yuvi played perfectly, LOVES photography, is a law graduate (whoa!) and aspires to be a filmmaker some day. Damn right, this guy is intense. Raj also took the Balaji route and played roles in Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii, Yeh Hai Aashiqui and he’s now playing an important role in everyone’s favourite show Ye Hai Mohabbatein! Nothing beats his role as Yuvi though.
Tia Ahuja hona koi aisi waisi baat nahi hai! Shweta definitely proved this line by going on to act in numerous shows like Ambar Dhara, Dill Mill Gayye, Comedy Circus and also featured in a movie called Detective Naani. Notice how Ashi and Yuvi were in Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii and Ranveer and Tia were in Dill Mill Gayye? Matches made in heaven only these four were.
Saurabh who played the serious but romantic Aman took quite a mythological turn after this show was over and took over the divine dual responsibility of playing Lord Vishnu and Lord Krishna in as many as THREE shows! Jai Shree Krishna, Devo Ke Dev… Mahadev and Mahabharat! What a star.
Surelee is obviously the coolest of the lot as not only did she become one of the most successful models in India after her stint on Remix, she’s also the co-founder of Bandra Road!
The nerdy Varun from Remix played a similar role of an under-confident young cadet in Left Right Left but it was the show Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha that got him critical acclaim as an actor and as a leading hero! He won the best actor at the Indian Telly Awards in 2013 for his role as Mohan.
Sakshi Talwar graduated from playing the supporting character of Vrinda in Remix to the lead in the TV show Ranbir Rano!
Habib played the smug Nakul really well in the show, but sadly, the actor became paralysed after the devastating 26/7 deluge that ravaged Bombay. Thankfully, after 40 surgeries, Habib was back on his feet and he’s doing well health wise. He also made an appearance in Salman Khan‘s show Dus Ka Dum in 2013!
The beautiful Sonia Kapoor was already an established TV star before she became Sonia Ray in Remix! After Remix she went on to feature in serials like Yes Boss, Jugni Chali Jalandhar and Parrivaar, her personal life was more in news though. Sonia was rumoured to be dating Himesh Reshammiya for quite some time, till they recently parted ways. Guess she didn’t like his rendition of Aashiq Banaya Aapne too much.
