Miss Vogue has landed on Indian newsstands, sold with the latest issue of Vogue India and embellished with cute cover lines like ‘Where have all the good guys gone?’, ‘All things cool’ and ‘shopping secrets from around the world.’ The launch took place yesterday with cover star and actress of the moment Alia Bhatt along with the Vogue team and young fashion and beauty bloggers from all over India.
Here’s how Priya Tanna, Editor, explains it,
Miss Vogue is a cool and fun look at the things that are of interest to today’s girls, all curated with Vogue’s discerning eye. Be it fashion, beauty, pop culture or life issues, Miss Vogue is your foundation to a very Vogue life.
She’s right, I read it and absolutely loved it! Here are a few highlights from the magazine that might interest you:
Alia Bhatt. It was absolutely no surprise to me that Alia Bhatt would be on the cover of Miss Vogue, because she’s the second coming fashionista after Sonam Kapoor. Let’s be honest she is 22, super cool and has a fresh sense of style! P.S. Remember this behind-the-scenes video?
Here’s what she said,
From summer style essentials and everything that’s hot for the tech-savvy teen, to pop culture that gets people like me ticking, Miss Vogue is the ultimate guide to cool. I’m really happy to be the first Miss Vogue covergirl.
There was a selection of clothes, shoes and accessories suggested to be the best buys this summer – it’s like a shopping-gasm (if that exists).
Hats off to Priyanka Kapadia for giving us a power packed sport luxe-y/bohemian inspired guide to summer dressing. I thought Alia looked very age appropriate and gorgeous in the editorial. I particularly liked the styling too because it made her look young, fresh and well basically herself.
This was magical. Smart choice for this interview that would obviously appeal to the masses- even if you don’t particularly dig Kendall Jenner’s style, you can’t help but love her anyway because she is everything we ever aspire to be – A Kardashian (please don’t kill us!)
With summer love comes cute boys and you’ll find every bit of cuteness in this issue right from Siddharth Malhotra (Ahem..obviously if Alia is on the cover, this shouldn’t be shocking) to the super adorable Ryan Gosling.
All in all, the issue basically covers everything from a very promising selection of people with great style, tech freaks, jaw dropping features, health watch, beauty buys and motivational bloggers that continuously talk about self-worth.
If you are passionate about style and fall under the age of 17-25 year olds, this one’s for you!
Let me know your thoughts on Miss Vogue once you read it!
