Guys! Remember Left Right Left? That insanely fun show most of us dedicated our dinner time to? Really, I haven’t met anyone who hasn’t liked this interesting effort to make the youth more connected to our armed forces. Such a refreshing change it was from the saas-bahu dramas that continue to dominate prime-time television. Check out my reasons as to why the show stands the test of time!

1) Naina and Huda’s sizzling chemistry.

She despised him, he loved her guts, together they made the screen sizzle whenever they’d appear on camera.

2) Shveta Salve looking hot AF!

Shveta Salve has always been a certified hottie, but in Left Right Left, she SLAYED! Too bad she was the bad guy, but if the bad guy looks like this, you can’t help but root for them; can you?

3) Rajeev Khandelwal as a badass.

Before this, Rajeev Khandelwal was popular as Sujal from the cry-fest Kahiin Toh Hoga. As Captain Rajveer Singh Shekhawat, Rajeev surely removed Sujal from everyone’s mind.

4) Finally there was a story on our armed forces!

It’s quite sad that American television has dozens of shows, mini-series and TV movies based on the army, while we can count the number of such shows with one hand. Left Right Left was like a breath of fresh air!

5) The perfect show we needed after Remix got over!

Really, the gaping hole Remix left in my heart was filled in with Left Right Left. Thank the Lord!

6) Ali and Pooja’s underrated love story.

Pooja and Ali‘s love was fresh, sweet and understated. It was also interesting to see an inter-caste love story and the complications that the young couple had to face.

7) Rajveer and Naina’s romantic undercurrent!

Rajveer’s love for Naina wasn’t out there like Huda’s but man there was some serious sexual tension there!

8) That boxing match!

Of course there’d be a boxing match between two Alpha Males. It had to happen!

9) The interesting bunch of cadets!

Everyone had a rich backstory and everyone was as lost as the other. It was fun to watch these guys stumble, struggle but finally succeed in serving the Indian army.

10) The title track!

It was my ringtone for the longest time! I bet you still sing it now sometimes.
