Believe me when I tell you, things like the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival are once in a lifetime experiences and when they come, it’s an opportunity you’d be a fool to miss out on. So of course, when it knocked, I didn’t hesitate to answer. Held over two weekends in April, the festival takes place in the Coachella Valley in Indio, California and this year, over 90,000 people bought tickets! Filled with the best of the best in music, art and a whole lot of fashion, it’s got something for everyone.
While I went for two out of three days, they’re easily going to be the two best days of my 2015. Since it was mostly about fashion for me, here are some people who brought their boho best to the festival…
And here’s what I wore…
Our tees were from some of the street shops on Venice Beach in Los Angeles and my embroidered shorts are from there too. You’ll be amazed at what you can buy from the street! I accessorised with a whole lot of assorted wristbands and body tattoos from We Love Customade.
My favourite calf-cuff from Arpita Mehta and an India Circus tote (remember this?) finished off the look.
I bought my fringe and sparkle vest from an exhibition years ago, who knew it would come in use at Coachella! A basic white tank and shorts finished the look. Of course I didn’t leave the house without feathers in my ears and a braided band on my head. I wore my Charles & Keith ankle strap sandals throughout with Ray Ban aviators.
Last day @coachella! There’s always room for some sparkle and fringe! #MMAtCoachella #MMGoesToCoachella #Coachella #coachella2015 A photo posted by MissMalini✨ (@missmalini) on
