Nach Baliye 7 premiered last night on Star Plus and it was all kinds of awesome! The judges – Preity Zinta, Marzi Pestonji and Chetan Bhagat – did not disappoint and I’m already crushing on Karan Patel and Rithvik Dhanjani as hosts. All the couples put up some fabulous performances and it definitely lived up to all the #TooMuch expectations.
Here are our favourite moments from the show:
For the first time in Nach Baliye, there is no public voting yet. So the couples would be judged on their dance skills and chemistry by our judges only. Pull up your socks already, guys!
Marzi told Rashami Desai that she is the only actor on television that he’s ever had a crush on. Aww! His confession was followed by a super cute impromptu performance by the two. #AdorableAlert
Karan and Rithvik are killing it at hosts. They’re funny, interactive and super chill. Really looking forward to them creating more magic on the show.
What I love the most about this season is that there’s real insight into all the couples’ love stories. My favourite ones so far are that of Amruta Khanvilkar-Himmanshoo Malhotra and Nidhi Ranka-Arpit Ranka. While the former jodi has been together for over 10 years now, the latter one has a classic bhaag ke shaadi story.
So Chetan Bhagat told Preity Zinta that his one entire semester in Engineering college was wasted because he was crushing so hard on Preity’s Jiya Jale song. And how it is a proud moment for all engineers that he’s getting an opportunity to sit next to her. Too cute!
When Arpit shared his runaway couple story with everyone, Chetan was being overtly critical of it. Marzi stood up for the couple and said “sab shaadi se bhaagte hain, aur aapne bhaag ke shaadi ki! Congratulations!”
Brownie points for Marzi right there!
Okay. I don’t know why exactly but Rohit Nag (Aishwarya Sakhuja‘s husband) really caught my attention. Something about him was so approachable and nice. One boy I’ll be looking out for on the show!
Speaking about boys that caught my attention, Sangram Singh killed it last night with his one liners even more than his dancing. Also, his nok-jhok with Chetan was too much fun.
Speaking of nok-jhok with the judges, something amazing is sure to happen between Karan and Marzi. Karan is constantly on Marzi’s case and it’s hilarious. I’m sure Marzi will come up with some cool retorts slowly but surely.
Are you ready for another night of #TooMuch fun? Tune in to Star Plus tonight at 11:30pm. Surprises in store!
