I love my mamma. You love your mamma. Errybody loves their mummas! It’s their time of year, what with Mother’s Day this weekend, and if you don’t do something special for her, trust me, you’re going to regret it – expect your list of chores to increase tenfold! If you haven’t figured out what this special something is going to be, don’t worry. Luckily for all children out there, a mother doesn’t always expect a physical present – something thoughtful goes a long way with the parents, so of course, we compiled a list. Here are 5 things we’re sure your mom will love, she might whack you for some of it (see point 1), but inside she’s over the moon with joy!

1. You Rang?

Raise your hand if your mom screams out to you from her room at random intervals. A bell would make things a whole lot simpler. This way you’ll know when she isn’t mad – she’ll ring the bell. When she is mad at you however, she’ll just go ahead and scream your name. So this is clearly a win-win. Now you know when to run and hide and she doesn’t need to over-work her vocal chords either.

2. Kiss The Cook

Admit it, you harass your mother on a daily basis when it comes to food and she’s probably ready to cook you and feed you to the crows. There’s a way to stop that from happening. Give her a break. Sign up for a cookery class and cook for her once a week. She’ll love you forever, we promise!

3. Redeem Me

Instead of upsetting her by not helping around the house (you’ve heard that before, right?) give her a voucher booklet. Add in things like, buy the groceries, make the beds, lay the table and this way, she can redeem them whenever she likes. It’s quite the commitment, but you set out to make her happy, remember?

4. Breathe In, Relax

Every mother loves spending quality time with her children. They don’t care if you don’t say a word to each other – as long as you’re around each other for more than 30 minutes at a time, they’re happy. Sign up for a mother-daughter/son yoga class or a spa day. You can relax and spend some time together – two birds, one stone.
