Alia Bhatt has made some huge waves with her films and acting finesse from a very early age. Though Student of the Year didn’t do justice to the talented young actress – she proved her worth with films like Highway, 2 States and Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhaniya – having already been roped in for some big future projects! Alia’s next big move isn’t anything to do with her career, but infact her own place! She has finally decided it is time to move into a house of her own, after having stayed with her family (Mom, dad and sister) in Juhu for almost 23 years. While mom, Soni Razdan is absolutely fine with Alia’s decision and is even helping with the house prep, with inputs from her father (Alia’s granddad), the same cannot be said for Alia’s dad, Mahesh Bhatt!
Alia laughs and explains what her dad had to say,
“He was like ‘Why do you have to move out? Why do you need your own place when you have all the privacy you need right here in this house?!’ When I tried to convince him that I had to find my own place he insisted that there must be room for him in my new home. I have tried to explain to him that I am just a breath away, but he is unconvinced. I guess dads will be dads!”
Alia intends on moving into her house early next year as there is still a lot of work to be done on the place. And she won’t be entirely alone with her move as her sister Shaheen Bhatt will accompany Alia on her big move.
