The IIFA Rocks green carpet was filled with a bevy of beautiful Bollywood heroines that stole our hearts in designer ensembles. Everyone from Shraddha Kapoor to Sonakshi Sinha didn’t fail to bring their fashion best to the event, only getting us more excited for Sunday’s main event. If only we had the best designers across the globe waiting to glam us up… with a little help of course, from some of the most talented stylists ever! Here’s what everyone wore.
Bipasha Basu was seen in a Sabyasachi outfit that has been worn before, but hey, when Bipasha does it… it’s as good as new! She looks absolutely timeless. Bipasha’s stylist for the event, Sanjana Batra, accessorized the look with pieces from Anmol Jewellers.
Shraddha Kapoor wore a Georges Chakra number and we love the risk, celebrity stylist, Tanya Ghavri, gave to this look by going short. Most of the outfits on the red carpet were floor-length gowns.
Huma Qureshi and her stylist, Sanjana Batra (once again), chose a color blocked Shivan & Narresh saree with jewelry from Minerali and a clutch from Boga Accessories.
Aditi Rao Hydari wowed us at the press con earlier in the morning and now she’s done it again with this crop top and skirt from Sabyasachi’s Summer Resort 2015 collection, styled by Shreeja Rajgopal.
Malaika Arora Khan was also wearing Georges Chakra, like Shraddha Kapoor, but a floor-length gown. The curve-hugging number is so cool, especially when paired with Mahesh Notandas jewelry and Christian Louboutins. Superb styling, we say… Maneka Harisinghani! The effect of that gown looks almost 3D.
Sonakshi Sinha could have stopped traffic in her Anamika Khanna outfit, accessorized with very chunky Amrapali jewels. This girl and her stylist, Sakshi Mehraa, keep upgrading their style game and we don’t know how to keep up!
The very stunning, Genelia Deshmukh wore a gown from JV By Jatin Varma, paired with Razwada jewelry, a Versace clutch, and Jimmy Choos! The new mom looks better than I would, at least, in that dress. The pattern on the ruffles are just absolutely doll-like on the glowing mumma!
Parineeti Chopra hosted the IIFA Rocks in a red Gaurav Gupta, one-shoulder gown. The black shoes break the pattern and damn… girl’s looking good!
Jacqueline Fernandez had her mermaid moment in a shimmering, Monisha Jaisingh dress. Paired with the side-swept waves and red lips, she gave off some major retro-glamour vibes.
Newcomer Kriti Sanon is rocking one of Michelle Obama‘s favorite designers: Bibhu Mohapatra and doesn’t she look ever-so-graceful and ladylike? Her clutch was from Furla and she was also styled by Tanya Ghavri.
Neha Dhupia is also wearing Anamika Khanna and we love the risk she took with this silhouette. The girl never plays it safe and we love that about her! The dress is perfect for the summer and is so versatile, it can be played down or up.
Surprisingly, no one seemed to disappoint us this time round… what are your thoughts? Have a favorite?
