Lakmé has just launched a one-of-a-kind beauty destination at the Grand Galleria in Phoenix, Mumbai and of course, Natasha Patel and I had to pay them a visit. It’s called the Lakmé Pro Stylist Studio: a one-stop beauty store for everything from hair, makeup, and skincare, to some quick nail color. This is the iconic beauty brand’s first endeavor in launching a store that houses all their areas of expertise, from bridal to fashion week, in one place.
Natasha and I took a tour of the gorgeous store and treated ourselves to a mini beauty lesson from the experts at Lakmé. I wanted to experiment with color on my eyes because I usually opt for black eyeliner and neutral colors.
Lakmé gave me a two-toned, thin blue eyeliner that I can wear to work because it wasn’t too bold. My skin just needed a tad bit of Lakmé CC Cream applied on the t-zone and blended outward. For my lips, we went with a very bright and summery pink. Again, this was something I’ve never tried before. It’s great to have a place where you can go to learn and push your boundaries, instead of a quick buy-and-get-out trip.
Natasha wanted a really simple, everyday look, which was achieved using CC Cream, Lakmé Flutter Lash mascara, and blue eyeliner on the bottom, for a change. We also learned a quick trick that was used on her eyes: lining the inner rim on top with black liner instead of applying it on the lid for a more natural look that still enhances your eyes.
We also hung out with models, Alesia Raut and Dipti Gujral, at the store. The two of them also had their makeup done, as well as their nails. Natasha and I asked them a few questions about their model beauty routines.

I’m definitely looking at Lakmé Pro Stylist Studio for a bunch of fun collaborations and beauty videos. I just hope they come out with a few more contouring products real soon.
