Pocket Stylist shows you how to get the perfect ballerina bun

Ok I know, I’ve been saying I’ll do this for a while now. But the second I went to do it, I’d washed my hair on the same day and all that newly washed hair came with a whole lot of frizz – basically it just didn’t look right. But I learnt that this bun is something that works best with 2-3 day old hair, hell, the older and dirtier the better. This way you can hide all the grease and it works for any kind of outing you can imagine. I’ve had it at meetings, parties and even during yoga. So before I ramble on any longer, you need a bun maker (it looks like a donut), a couple of bobby pins and two black rubber bands. Hooped earrings look great when your hair is all tied up. I just feel incomplete without having something near my ears.

What you need!

Here’s how it’s done.

Divide your hair into two sections

STEP 5

Braid the first and wrap it around the donut. Secure it with a bobby pin
