Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is in Chantily, France representing luxury watch brand Longines. The brand ambassador attended the Prix De Diane and a garden party in black and white and then all-black-everything, so it’s safe to say she’s steered clear of color this summer.
Her first outfit was a white BCBG lace dress with a black fascinator. I don’t quite like the black against white clash and would’ve preferred the dress if it were more form-fitting and knee-length, perhaps?
Outfit number 2? Umm… let’s talk about the makeup first shall we? Because I absolutely love it! She’s got that vamp liner and ombre, blood-red lips! She’s also sporting a really cool, mismatched metallic manicure.
While her ensemble might not have been very day-time appropriate or one of my favorites… I will say, it’s really cool how costume-like she’s gone with the get up. It’s almost like she’s playing the bit of a vampy Mary Poppins in a Tim Burton movie. Agreed? And I’m always a fan of experimentation!
