It was recently announced that Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt have been roped in for Karan Malhotra‘s upcoming magnum opus, Shuddhi. The much talked about film has finally found its lead pair after a lot of brouhaha. From Salman Khan to Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone to Kareena Kapoor – a lot of Bollywood bigwigs were considered to play the lead roles in this movie (we even ranked the tentative jodis). In fact, Hrithik and Bebo were almost finalised for the flick and everyone was excited to this duo back on screen together. In fact, #BringBackHrithikKareena was even trending online. But much to the dismay of their fans, Duggu and Bebo are not going to be in the film. And when Kareena was asked about her exit from this project in a recent interview, she said:
When Hrithik didn’t do the film, I don’t think it just made sense. Because that film I think was all about Hrithik and Kareena coming back.
True that, Bebo! Though this one didn’t work out, we definitely want to see Kareena and Hrithik on screen again and revisit our Yaadein. Isn’t it?
