‘Sanskari’ Alok Nath is back in the news! After taking Twitter by storm a few years back with a whole new joke format about his sanskaar. He joined Twitter shortly after and has been using it like any other Twitter user. But things got a little weird when a particular interaction happened last night.
So PM Narendra Modi’s latest campaign #SelfieWithDaughter has been well received for its intent to voice the disparity in gender role in our country. As always, Twitter has its own sets of reactions to it, but one particular one became a whole new talking point.
Kavita Krishnan, who is an activist and the secretary of All India Progressive Women Association, took a dig at Modi’s initiative where he’s urged citizens to post selfies with their daughters and spread the word around.
There was a lot of upheaval on Twitter because of this. But one tweet by Alok Nath completely changed the discourse of the conversation.
Alok Nath found as many supporters for this tweet, as he did opposers. Regardles of whose side you’re on, I just think you can’t go around calling anyone a ”b*tch,” just because their opinion isn’t the same as yours.
What are your thoughts?
