As a nation we have spent our Saturday nights tuning into MTV India’s reality series Roadies X2. The show came to an end this weekend and Prince Narula walked away with the title of the Ultimate Roadie. We caught up with the top three Roadies to find out just what they were thinking in the finale rounds.

Rizwan Sikander

We start with Rizwan Sikander, who was the last standing member of Karan Kundra’s gang. He impressed us all from day one with his Human Flag stunt and continued to keep our attention through the show.

Third place from auditions with hundreds is an accomplishment. Of course I wanted to win, but I lost to the best contenders. My journey is packed with memories and milestones. Karan [Kundra] and I bonded like brothers. I thank him for protecting me as he saw me as his Ultimate Roadie. He gave surakhsha kawach (immunity) twice in moments the roadies had their eye on voting me out to eliminate me as their competition. I walked away from this show as a winner. I proved to myself how much I have grown in the physical aspect, I have earned mentors in all the judges, and most importantly, I have made friends for life. I guess that the Roadies lifestyle.

Gurmeet Rehal

The one who faced Prince in the final challenge was Gurmeet. He may have been a quiet force throughout the show, but we knew he was of the strongest competitors.

Being in the finale is not the only thing I am happy about, but how I reached the finale is worth remembering. Throughout the journey I earned immense respect and love not only from all gang members, but also from all four gang leaders. I got 10 votes out of 21 contestants, which labeled me the most deserving contestant for winning the Roadies X2 title, which was the huge respect, first time ever happened in Roadies history. On top of that Prince and I were asked to fight against each other during journey, but we never did. Our dream was to fight in the finale, there couldn’t have been a better finale because two brothers were about to fight.

Last but not least is THE Ultimate Roadie with his tall stature and chiseled abs, Prince!

Winning Roadies X2 is what I wanted to do and I am so happy and proud. Thank you Rannvijay sir for always motivating and supporting me, this win is for you! I am sad that Roadies is over, I will miss everyone. Such good friends and time we had together. Now I am part of MTV Splitsvilla, something more emotional.

Well that’s the end of MTV Roadies X2; will you miss catching this action-packed series?
