Hrithik Roshan is, without a doubt, one of Bollywood’s best dancers. Every new song of his is such a treat, and it wouldn’t be a stretch to say that many films have been made better by his dance performances (case in point: Bang Bang). But what’s even better is his live performances, especially since he’s one of the few Bollywood celebrities who actually performs live, instead of shooting a pre-recorded performance. And recently, while MissMalini was backstage at IIFA, we learned an interesting fact about the actor from none other than Shiamak Davar, who choreographed his act that night.
Hrithik went on record to say that he enjoyed his performance because of the steps given to him by Shiamak, but acknowledged that it wasn’t just the choreographer who was responsible for it: Shiamak’s entire team and his dancers had a large part to play in it. Shiamak then went on to reveal that after EVERY show, Hrithik makes it a point to come backstage and thank all the dancers. Amazing!
The IIFA awards will be telecast on July 5th starting at 8pm, so we can’t wait to see Hrithik’s performance – thanks to MissMalini, we know it was brilliant, but then again, that’s expected from Hrithik, no? :)
