Rashami Desai and Nandish Sandhu are one of the original Nach Baliye 7 couples, and they’ve certainly come a long way since they started out. They entered the show amidst controversy and rumours that they would be getting a divorce, and they even admitted that their relationship was on rocky ground. It’s been several weeks since the start of the journey, and they’ve now emerged as one of the four hopeful pairs to walk away winners of this season. But will they? Here are 5 reasons we think they’ve got a pretty strong chance of making it to the finish line!
1. They’re good dancers
The most obvious one but it’s still worth mentioning: Nach Baliye is, at the end of the day, a dance show, and Rashami and Nandish are definitely amongst the best dancers the show has got. They’ve been impressing the judges since the beginning and have given some lovely performances on the Nach stage.
2. They’ve grown a lot
Even though they were already good dancers, the two have shown definite improvement over the weeks. In fact, on the most recent episode, the judges even mentioned that their performance was the best till date. That just shows that they’ve not slacked or gotten complacent – instead, they’ve continued to give it their all.
3. They’ve been honest from the beginning
The temptation must be great to portray themselves as a completely in-love couple, especially on a show that’s based on their compatibility and relationship. However, Rashami and Nandish have been honest from the beginning that they’re not a perfect couple; in fact, they’ve admitted to having a lot of problems that they’re still trying to work through. Major points for being honest – and we bet that the audience can relate to them more, especially since every relationship has its ups-and-downs.
4. They’ve improved their relationship
Like we said, they’ve been honest that they want to get better at being with each other – and it seems like that has worked! The two have admitted that they are in a better space and their relationship has improved through the weeks of being contestants on the show. Yay for couples who actually do put in the hard work to stay together! <3
5. They’ve got fan support!
They’re one of the most loved couples of television, and their fans have been going all out voting for them and encouraging other people to do so too. Since voting is now open – previously, the ranking was all based on judges’ scores – fan support will count now more than ever.
