Rumor has it that Zee TV’s popular show, Jodha Akbar will soon go off air. Falling TRPs and rumors of the lead actors Paridhi Sharma and Rajat Tokas getting replaced has led to this decision of pulling the show off screens. Apparently, the team has already wrapped the shooting and the last episode will be aired mid-August. The news had caused frenzy among the fans of the show who started a #MissionToSaveJodhaAkbar on Twitter.
But the channel has already decided that Drashti Dhami‘s new show, Ek Tha Raja, Ek Thi Rani will take Jodha Akabr’s place on TV. The show has created quite a buzz since its promo has been aired and it’ll be interesting to see if the lovely Madhubala is able to recreate the same magic with Siddhant Karnick as she did with Vivian D’sena.
That said, we will surely miss Jodha Akbar!
