If word is to be believed, two Bollywood directors – Karan Johar and Gauri Shinde – are going to be collaborating for a film! This is going to be quite the combination, as they both seem to have very different ‘styles’ – Karan is known for his extravagance and large-than-life projects, while, if we go by Gauri’s English Vinglish, she likes to tell simple, relatable stories.
It’s going to be interesting to see what kind of project the two of them are coming together for, but as of now, not many details are known. Filmfare reports that the highlight of the film will be a casting coup, so that’s definitely going to be something that we have to look out for! Interestingly, Karan had once tweeted Gauri saying that she should cast him, so we’ve gotta wonder whether he’ll have a role to play in this film in front of the camera as well.
