Yesterday, I told you how Sonu Nigam received a lot of flak on Twitter after he compared the oh-so-famous celebrity ‘God woman’ Radhe Ma to Goddess Kaali. He also gave a shocking reply to his haters. Check it out here. And now, yet another celeb has managed to rub the Twitterati the wrong way. It is none other than the popular Southern baddie, Prakash Raj. He has triggered a lot of anguish by featuring in a controversial jewellery ad.
The actor plays a father to a young unmarried daughter in the commercial and refers to her as ‘tension’. He also asks the viewers to SMS ‘TENSION’ to a given number, if they also happen to have a daughter of marriageable age. Umm. Though unintentionally, this advertisement hurt the sentiments of many and hence, a lot of people took to Twitter to slam Mr. Raj. Here’s how he responded to the hate messages.

It is aimed at the mindset of people who think girl child is “tension”. The ad clearly states it is the rate of gold u gift ..not the girl.
