The over-sized shirt that fits like a glove!
The over-sized shirt that fits like a glove!

Sometimes the simplest things work in the most genius ways. Yup, BandraRoad’s all about the street expression. While we hunt for those bad-ass outfits, we’re also big on making looks work with easy tricks and tips. Today I’m going to show you how to make an over-sized shirt fit your look in a cool, hip way!

All you need is that shirt that’s big for you and to follow my tips listed below. And yes, your baller attitude too!

Tip 1: Layer it!

I’ve had this Brenton stripe tee in an XXL while I’m a medium to large size guy. To make this tee work, I layered it with a cool, well-cut jacket that masked the bagginess of my tee making the whole look seem tailored and perfect for a street style shot! Besides, the stripes add to the visual trickery making the look, fit to size.

Tip 2: Button up your button down!

Go geek chic by buttoning up your shirt to the top. It adds that nice guy vibe to a look that would be kind of shabby if you wore it buttoned down. The collar adds a structure to the look and finishes it in a street chic way.

Tip 3: Cape the denim jacket

Here’s a tricky one. I had this over-sized floral print shirt (P.S. I love prints!) and a denim jacket that is a tad too loose. So I just buttoned up the collar and wore the jacket as a cape resting on my shoulder. Now, street style photographers love this look and it’s a classic!
