So, if you’re anything like me… you’ve got to push yourself to get up, gather your makeup brushes, and scrub em’ clean! I love my brushes and makeup, but I can be hella’ lazy, so when I heard about this new mini-washing machine of sorts, for my brushes… I was super excited! And then, I did my research. For starters, here’s what the machine looks like.

The machine is produced by a company called BrushPearl™ and it comes with an “ultrasonic” cleaner. The machine claims to send ultrasonic waves through the water and cleanser mixture that thoroughly cleanses your brushes.

You fill the machine with water and add about two caps of cleanser, then close the machine top. Insert the bristles of your brushes through the slots, so they’re standing and turn the machine on: you can choose a setting. It takes about 10 min on its maximum setting for really dirty brushes.

Once the brushes have been cleaned,  you throw out the dirty water and add more water for a round of rinsing. Then, you remove the water and pull up the top, so that the brushes stay in the slots and dry over time. But I feel like you’ll probably have to give them a little squeeze cause they’ll be soaking wet.

There are mixed reviews on the product over the web, claiming the product’s highest setting don’t clean extreme grime, but then perhaps try 2 rounds of cleaning? Some say the cleansing soap itself is amazing. I think it does help that you can get on with other things in those 10 – 15 minutes, doesn’t it? What are your thoughts? I think I might just purchase it when I have the chance!
