Yesterday’s Jeremy Scott collection showcase at New York Fashion Week Spring-Summer 2016 became a super hit with the crowd. He presented his signature OTT flair in the best way possible: it was over-the-top prints, loud color, and some crazy makeup to go with it.
The first thing that popped into my mind was, of course: the ’70s, comics, and maybe Twiggy? Some have termed the makeup “plastic fantastic” and some have compared it to heroines from John Waters‘ cult films. Either way, you can’t deny it’s cool. See those pointed blue nails? This makeup look was created by Kabuki.
Gigi Hadid looks great in big blonde hair, a pointed bustier, and pastel/coral lips. While the lower-lash flicks have been majorly exaggerated with eye liner, you can try the ’70s look at home. Click here!
