Bigg Boss 9 season is almost upon us and after a whole lot of rumours and speculations, we’ve got our hands on, what seems like, the final list of the show and we are super duper excited with these brand new developments.
1. Mohit Malhotra
Best known for his Splitsvilla runner-up status, Mohit Malhotra has always starred in some TV shows.
2. Mahhi Vij
The actress has been on many fiction as well as reality shows on TV (remember Nakkushah?) and her Instagram is flooded with cutesy pictures with hubby Jay Bhanushali. But my favourite Mahhi Vij moment has got to be this one:
3. Arshi Khan
Model Arshi Khan‘s claim to fame is accusing Radhe Maa of running a sex racket and dating Pakistani cricketer Shahid Afridi. No, seriously.
4. Nazeem Khan
Nazeem Khan‘s appearance in Bajrangi Bhaijaan as young Salman Khan was a stroke of genius by Kabir Khan if you ask me. And looks like it’s also got Nazeem a spot on Bigg Boss 9. No complaints there.
5. Nakshatra Bagwe
Nakshatra Bhagwe’s Wikipedia reads:
He is an LGBT rights activist and also an organiser of Gujarat’s first ever pride march. Nakshatra has participated in several Pride Parades in India.
6. Sunil Grover
Funnyman Sunil Grover aka Gutthi was rumoured to be a part of the show last year too but looks like things have only worked out this year. I’ve met Sunil and he is more fun than funny in person, you know what I mean? He’s an interesting addition to the show, I feel.
7. Mayur Verma
Upcoming actor Mayur Verma is currently on Sab TV’s Jeannie & Juju so this should be a good break for him. Just to put things in perspective, Gautam Gulati did win last season. Now if only everyone had the Gauti charm…
8. Armaan Jain
The entire Kapoor khaandaan tried their best to make Armaan Jain happen when he debuted with Lekar Hum Deewana Dil. Unfortunately though, it was a forgettable entry into Bollywood, so looks like a much-needed push from the telly audience will do him good.
9. Roopal Tyagi
Roopal Tyagi, the cute girl from Sapne Suhaane Ladakpan Ke, recently appeared on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa and is now all set to grace the house.
10. Ankit Gera
And for the token ex-couple of the season…
Roopal’s ex-boyfriend Ankit Gera (who was also her co-star on Sapne Suhaane Ladakpan Ke) will be in the house. Will the former couple act couple all over again for some TRP? Guess we’ll find out!
I am most excited to see Nazeem on the show because how fun is Salman Khan interacting with his lookalike going to be!? 😀
