If recent reports are to be believed, B-town’s young couple, Sidharth Malhotra and Alia Bhatt were dining with the former’s parents last month. What’s more, the actress even spent some quality time with her beau’s family post dinner. Clearly, the two are rather serious about each other and their relationship. Though they haven’t really spoken about their bond in public, industry insiders claim that they are very much together. Therefore, when Alia met Sid’s khaandaan, many wondered whether marriage is on the cards. But when a leading daily asked the actor about these speculations, he promptly said:
We have just started our careers. Abhi toh hum jawaan hai, abhi shaadi kahaan? (We are still young. Where does getting married feature in our lives right now?)
Haha! I’m sure many 20-something guys and girls are nodding to that statement of yours, Sid. But guess what? The Brothers hero has turned 30 and here’s what he has to say about it:
I am just 30, and today, 30 is the new 20. I am not even thinking right now. I am not even ready. There is so much work to be done. I have a lot of growing up to do too. Eventually, definitely. I strongly believe in the whole family thing, but timing wise, it’s not happening anytime soon.
I guess we’ll have to wait for a looooooooooong time to see these two tying the knot (to each other or otherwise – only time will tell!).
