Ranbir Kapoor and Farhan Akhtar are in some legal trouble. Apparently, the two have been promoting an online shopping portal which has disappointed a customer.
An FIR has been registered by a lawyer in Lucknow who had ordered a 40-inch LED TV worth Rs 29,999 which he had paid for by his debit card. He was promised that his order would be delivered to him within 10 days, but it didn’t. So the customer filed an FIR against the website’s directors, Farhan and Ranbir under IPC sections 406 (punishment for criminal breach of trust) and 420 (forgery) on September 19.
According to him, the celebrities who endorse the product dupe the customers into using the portal.
