Everyone is super excited about Bigg Boss 9 and since the premiere date of this show was revealed – October 11th – we’ve been crossing dates off the calendar. At the Bigg Boss 9 launch night (which was super fun!), Salman Khan was asked if the decision of Bigg Boss going on air on Amitabh Bachchan‘s birthday (Oct 11) was a conscious one.
This is what he said:
It’s just a co-incidence. But now that it is, we’ll take credit for it. Since he was the host, we thought it was only fair to launch the show on Bachchan saab’s birthday. This is our way of saying ‘happy birthday to you, sir.’
