What if women gave men the same treatment they currently receive? If you’re a woman, you’ve definitely had this thought at some point in your life: what would it be like if situations were reversed and the men in our lives really got a chance to walk in our shoes for some time? (Not that they’d make it very far in our heels.)
We all know those men who think women play the feminism “card” unnecessarily, without realising that in everyday society, there are still so many ways women are perceived as inferior to men. Well, the folks over at YashRaj Films are tackling this very issue in their new four-part series called Man’s World. In this series, a man who believes the world is unfair to men prays that the world is flipped and both genders get to exchange places. Well, his dream does come true – but like they say, be careful what you wish for!
Man’s World supports Goal 5 of the UN’s Global Goals for Sustainable Development, which calls for gender equality and the empowerment of women everywhere. Episode one is now out and features guest appearances by celebrities like Bhumi Pednekar, Shruti Seth, Pritish Nandy, Cyrus Sahukar and Naveen Kasturia. Take a look below:
