Along with Paris, London and New York, Milan is often touted as one of the fashion capitals of the world. Hence, when Milan Fashion Week takes place, we sit up and take notice! From structured outfits to lust-worthy bags, the ramp showed it all. However, our eyes were firmly placed on the makeup! Here are 5 of our favourite looks.
1. Fendi
Fendi models are the epitome of cool. Not only were they decked out in bold, graphic prints, but also had graphic eyeliner to match the outfits! The negative spacing, jet black liner and perfectly curved lines gave off an edgy, glamorous vibe that we can’t wait to emulate.
2. Prada
Need to make an entrance? Go for Prada’s dazzling gold lips! Complemented by slicked back hair and glowing skin, this metallic pout truly stole the show. You can use a gold pigment to get this intense look, or simply swipe a sheer gold lipstick as a more wearable option.
3. CoSTUME NATIONAL
If Prada was all about the unexpected, then CoSTUME NATIONAL was all about the usual – with a twist. Flaunting a black smoky eye and tousled, bed hair, the models looked like they were on their way to a club. What took the look to ramp status, was the glossy finish of the eyeshadows.
4. Missoni
Eye makeup is always trending. Missoni models lit up the runway with their bright, punchy eye shadow and luminous skin. We love the slightly messy, paintbrush-like finish of the shadow.
5. Versace
Another look we can’t wait to try out came from Versace. With bronzed skin, chiseled cheeks and soft lips, every model looked like a Greek Goddess. Who said that contouring was last season?
