Now that Shahid Kapoor‘s sister, Sanah Kapoor is breaking into Bollywood with a movie like Shaandaar, people might assume that she got the role because of her legacy. However, that might not really be the case because Sanah finally revealed how she went through a series of auditions and landed her role.
She told Bollywood Life,
When I went for the auditions of Shaandaar, I choose to do this on my own – to work independently and prove myself! I would like to thank Mukesh Chabbra for acknowledging my talent and giving me this role which I instantly fell in love with.
She even revealed to HT,
One of the best moments for me after becoming a part of the project was coming home and telling mom, dad and Shahid bhaiya about getting selected. They didn’t even know I had auditioned. The surprise and pride on their faces was priceless.
We must say we’re obsessing over Gulaabo!
