Actor Vishal Thakkar, who you might know from Munnabhai MBBS and Chandni Bar, has been charged under sections of rape and other offences. The victim is also an actress who’s worked in several TV serials. She has alleged that Vishal raped her in his house. An FIR has been registered against the actor under IPC sections 376 (rape), 420 (cheating), 323, 509 (word, gesture or act intended to insult the modesty of a woman) and 506 (criminal intimidation).
The actor has not yet been arrested.
