Abhijeet Bhattacharya has been accused of abusing and molesting a woman, who after the alleged incident, filed an FIR against him at the Oshiwara police station, in Mumbai. The woman was reportedly molested at the Lokhandwala Durga Puja pandal which Abhijeet organizes every year. The victim had come there to watch Kailash Kher‘s performance and because of the huge crowd, she had to leave her seat and stand up to watch the show. According to reports, this is when she felt Abhijeet touching her inappropriately. After she objected and told Abhijeet that she’d go to the police if he continued this act, the singer threatened her of ‘consequences’.
The woman was taken out of the venue by security guards, after which, she immediately lodged a complaint. The police have said that they will record statements of witnesses before taking any action. Abhijeet has denied the charges and said he only had an argument with the woman. He says he had asked her to move or be seated as she was blocking everyone’s view.
Due to this incident, social media is buzzing with the obscene messages Abhijeet has sent to a woman after she had spoken against his stance on the cancelling of the Ghulam Ali concert in Mumbai.

This has nothing to do with the molestation case he has been booked for, but due to these tweets doing the rounds on social media, the singer’s history of being foul mouthed is being spoken out everywhere.
