According to a report in the Times Of India, Geeta Basra (who is all set to marry Harbhajan Singh) spent an entire day doing the fitting for her wedding trousseau with her designer Archana Kochar before she left for Jalandhar, (which is her wedding destination).
Apparently, the wedding dress will be vintage. For the mehendi ceremony, Geeta’s outfit is a lime yellow kurti and pink lehenga with antique silver work. For the ‘Chuda‘ ceremony, Geeta has chosen an orange lehenga made of ‘ahimsa silk‘ (a process of creating silk in which silkworms are not killed, so nice). The dress is said to be a blend of a fish tail skirt with a sheer embroidered crop top.
The wedding lehenga chosen by Geeta is in red and gold and she will be accessorizing her look with a kamarband and maang teeka while the reception lehenga is electric blue and is paired with a vintage blouse.
Stay tuned for the pictures of this big fat Punjabi wedding!
